I’ve Got My Eyes On You, Valentine
Valentines Day is right around the corner and I’ve already received the party announcement from Maddilyn’s teacher. Instead of handing out the generic Valentine’s Day cards, my preschooler and I decided to get a little crafty with these super easy DIY Valentine’s Day Cards for Kids.
Materials
3x4in Resealable Clear Bags
Double Sided Tape or Glue Stick
20mm Glue On Eyes
Hershey Kisses
ZINK hAppy Printer
2 inch ZINK zRoll (the blue one!)
Instructions
Assembling these cute gifts is really easy if you have a ZINK hAppy. Just create a 3inch wide label with the phrase
I've Got My On You Valentine
Print, peel and stick over the sealable portion of the bag.
If you don’t have the ZINK hAppy, you can use Crafting Paper, a Marker and double sided tape. Cut your craft paper into 2in by 3in strips. Add the same phrase using a marker and stencils or free hand. Make sure to leave space for your eyes! Apply 2 strips of double sided tape (you will not want to use glue) and then apply your label to the bag.
Here is where the preschoolers can help! Next, using the glue stick or double sided tape attach a set of eyes to the free space in your label.
Finally, apply an eye to each (or just a few) bottom of the Hershey Kisses! TIP: I found that the bag comfortably fits 6 Kisses.
I found all of these supplies – except the Hershey Kisses- at JoAnn Fabrics. For a class of 15, I spent less than $10.
