LEGOLAND® California’s Brick-or-Treat Party Nights celebration kicked off this past weekend with even more trick-or-treating and fun than ever! The not-too-spooky Halloween party in the park welcomes guests of all ages to dress up in costume and enjoy special time in the park, starting at 5 p.m. (Guests who purchased wristbands, can actually enter the Park starting at 4 p.m.) The celebration will continue on Saturdays in October (10,17 & 24) as well as Friday, October 30.
Here’s some of the important information you’ll need to know about Legoland’s Brick or Treat Party Nights:
It’s a great value for a Halloween-themed family event!
Admission for Legoland Brick-or-Treat Party is very reasonable priced, at a Walk-Up price of only $45. (Tickets can be also purchased in advance online for as low as $35.) Guests who already have a regular admission to the Park for the day, also have the option to add the event (at Guest Services) to their ticket, for just $20 more. LEGOLAND California Annual Pass and Merlin Annual Pass Standard Members can upgrade to purchase a Brick-or-Treat Party Nights event ticket at a discounted price. (Event admission is free for Merlin Annual Pass Premium Members, Ambassador and Ambassador Resort Members.)
Look for treat stations and candy carts all through the park!
During Brick-or-Treat Party Nights, ticketed guests can pick up an empty goodie bag at one of the 10 treat stations, located throughout the park, and continue trick or treating around to fill up their bags. Some of the treats being handed out by the “Boo Crew” include:
- a Brick-or-Treat Commemorative Brick
- Brick-or-Treat Hat
- LEGO Club Magazine
- LEGO City Collector Magazine
- Clif Bar’s Clif Kid Z-Bar
- Shutterfly promotional card
There are also 2 BONUS treat stations inside SEA LIFE® Aquarium, which is part of the event. This year there are also new roaming candy carts this year, where kids can gather treats and other surprises from trail partners: Shutterfly®, LEGO®, Clif Kids™, Honest Kids®, Red Vines®, SMARTCANDY® and and Airheads®. I might add that the sizes of the treats are impresive! Just look at these GIANT Airheads!
And speaking of being on a quest for candy…brand new this year is Candy Quest, which is located inside of Adventurers Club! The kids are going to love this interactive walk through where they’ll meet characters and receive more treats for their goodie bags! There’s plenty to see and do at Brick-or-Treat Party Nights.
Guests can enjoy a variety of shows, hands on activities, and live entertainment, throughout the event.
- Catch two fun shows in the Courtyard Theater Stage on Castle Hill. “Mail Order Monsters” and “The Witchettes” have several shows each night. (see guide for times)
- Enjoy “Monster Fighter Mash” and the Ultimate Dance Party over on Miniland Stage.
- Enjoy dancing at Hubble Bubble’s Dance Party AND at Wanda’s Jellyfish Disco inside Sea Life Aquarium.
- The Heartlake City Fall Festival is new for this year. You can enjoy a Bluegrass Ban, LEGO Friends Meet and Greets, A LEGO Pumpkin Patch Free Build at Heartlake City Stables, and some interactive, Not-So-Scary Storytelling at Village Theater.
You’ll also find some pretty cool roaming entertainers including stilt walkers, ball walkers, and even unicyclists.
There’s a Costume contest for guests with MAJORLY awesome prizes!
During Brick-or-Treats Party Nights, guests 12 and under can participate in a costume contest. There are 3 themes for the contest: GROUP, LEGO, and CREATIVE. Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends 15 minutes before each contest begins. Costumes will be judged by three LEGOLAND Park judges. First place winners can only win one costume contest during the Brick-or-Treat Party Nights. The selection of each winner, and the criteria used in the selecting each winner, are within the sole discretion of the LEGOLAND Park judges and the decisions of the LEGOLAND Park judges are final. There will be 1 winner in each of the three categories. For more information about the contest, click here.
The regular attractions are open!
Most of the areas inside LEGOLAND are open during Brick-or-Treat Party Nights from 5-9pm. These areas include: Miniland, Castle Hill, Land of Adventure, Imagination Zone, The Beginning, Explorer Island, LEGO Friends Heartlake City and Fun Town. Splash Battle, Pirate Reef and Soak ~N~ Sail will be close at 6:00pm each evening. As a bonus, Coast Cruise is transformed into Ghost Cruise on these nights. Don’t worry, it’s not scary.
