Do you remember creating your Christmas or holiday wish list as a kid? I can remember a few of mine, mostly because like kids tend to do, they were the hottest items of the season. One year, when I was incredibly young, it was a singing, talking Barney plush. Another year it was a deluxe kitchen, then an easy bake oven, and lastly I remember coveting a Furby.
My parents had five kids and they were by no means wealthy but they always made sure we got that one special toy each year. Now that I’m a parent and my daughter becomes increasingly interested in Santa and Christmas, I see the same trends play out as she makes her Christmas list this year. While she knows that she won’t get absolutely everything on her list, Santa and I work together to make Christmas wishes come true and ensure she gets a few of the gifts she really, really wants.
To help moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends avoid the stress of toy shopping this year, Kmart released their list of the hottest toys of the holiday season. Kmart’s Fab 15 list features the hottest toys for the 2015 holiday season, which have been tested by Kmart’s first-ever Kid Toy Advisory Board – a select group of kids of Kmart employees who are serving as toy experts and holiday toy consultants. Kmart was kind enough to send us all of the above so we donated most of them to Toys for Tots, but have stashed a few away to surprise her with on Christmas. We can’t wait to see the look on her face when she opens Zoomer Kitty and the FurReal Friends Star Lily – she is going to FLIP OUT!!
Kmart Fab 15 Holiday Gift Guide for Kids
What toy themes are trending in your house right now? Zombies? Princesses? Dinosaurs? Did any of these make your child’s holiday wish list? I know mine is coveting anything Frozen and we love the Jakks Pacific brand, but FurReal Friends are always a huge hit too. You can check out the Fab 15 and all the other awesome toys at Kmart.
This post is written on behalf of Kmart by me. All opinions are 100% mine.
These are some great picks. I know the new Hot Wheels garage is going to be a really popular one this year!
I still remember my Easy Bake Oven. My daughter had a Furby–that thing never shut up!
Oh my gosh, my daughter is going crazy over Star Lilly the Unicorn! Great gift guide!
I can remember toy shopping for our girls when they were young. Seemed I had to have one toy on the list that was hard to find or sold out everywhere. These look like fun, but I don’t miss toy shopping.
It sounds like they have everything there. I definitely need to head over to Kmart to finish my shopping.
