Does your house smell like gingerbread yet? Is your oven running at full speed? We haven’t started baking for the holidays, since I’m not the most experienced baker or cook. However, I’d like to gain some more experience and give my children holiday memories of a house filled with wonderful smells and plates of cookies. So, of course I started searching the web and Pinterest for recipes and inspiration.
A western cowboy snowman? sure, why not!
These swirly Christmas sugar cookies from Our Italian Kitchen, were some of the first to catch my eye. My daughter loves sprinkles and would add them to everything if I’d let her, so I know these will be an instant hit. (if I’m able to make them correctly and they’re edible)
The snowman cookies by “The Bearfoot Baker“ are so adorable, I don’t think I could eat them. Oh, who am I kidding?
What kid wouldn’t want to make these penguin cookies from CatchMyParty.com?
I’m a huge Snoopy fan, and I collect Snoopy Christmas ornaments, so these cookies from “Pink Apron Baker” are perfect for me!
For those of you doing “Elf on the Shelf”, maybe your Elf can whip up a batch of these cookies from Bake at 350, while the kids are nestles in their beds.
I love these stuck Santa cookies by “Sweet Sugar Belle.”
Hot chocolate and cookies go well together on a cold wintry day! This a an adorable variety from Munchkin Munchies.
Every year we try to add a new family ornament to our Christmas tree. I found these super cool personalized cookies at “Glorious Treats“, that resemble our ornaments.
And don’t forget these Reindeer from Sweet Sugar Belle!
What cookies are you making this month?
Wow these cookies are amazing. Better than ones I have seen in bakeries even. I love all of the ideas.
