One of the things that make Kebabs so great is that they start with a simple base and they can be taken in almost any direction. At it’s most simple a Kebab is a Middle Eastern dish of pieces of meat, fish, or vegetables roasted or grilled on a skewer or spit. Most people use shrimp, chicken or beef as their meet but as you will see below you can even use salmon or tofu! Additionally, some common vegetables are potatoes, peppers, mushrooms and zuchini but don’t be afraid to get creative here! Almost any vegetable can be put on a skewer.
