Nothing! One of my favorite parts about California Adventure is going to the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop located on their Fisherman’s Warf. Walking by, you’re lured close by the smell of the freshly made waffle cones and just to make your way inside as they entice you with free chocolate squares. I’m a sucker for chocolate. I’ve always looked forward to getting one of their “World Famous” hot fudge sundaes or sea salt caramel hot chocolates every time I go to the parks. While visiting Ghirardelli in the parks is amazing, I have some really good news to share with you. Ghirardelli is going to be widening their southern California experience outside the Disneyland Resort so that chocolate fans can enjoy their sweet treats even if they don’t have an annual pass!
The newest Ghirardelli Chocolate Company Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop will join The Walt Disney Studio’s El Capitan Theatre and Disney Studio Store on Hollywood Boulevard! Set to have their grand opening on Friday, November 15th, all guests will receive a complimentary chocolate square and be one of the first to buy specialty created sundae treats inspired by upcoming Disney and Pixar films such as “Frozen”.
“Ghirardelli Chocolate is honored to join The Walt Disney Company on Hollywood Boulevard to bring visitors and moviegoers an unforgettable experience,” said Marty Thompson, President and CEO of the Ghirardelli® Chocolate Company. “We have been bringing quality chocolate to the public for over 160 years, and this iconic location in the heart of Hollywood is the perfect place to continue the tradition.”
With the holidays approaching, I’m excited to visit Ghirardelli to relish in one of my favorite chocolate offerings, their pumpkin spice chocolate! I’m positive that the newest addition to Hollywood Boulevard will be a must-visit for all chocolate lovers, and the perfect location to explore on your next Los Angeles outing or before catching a movie at the El Capitan Theater!
