Halloween Witch Recipe: Icy Witch
These are going to be the perfect treat for my daughter’s Halloween / birthday party! These little witches are ridiculously easy to make and cuter than they are scary (perfect for my little girl).
Something to note – the recipe calls for 4 Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers. An interesting thing about those Famous Wafers is that they are about as tricky to find as an actual witch itself. Not kidding. I don’t know if Nabisco is trying to create a sense of scarcity to drive up demand or what. So if you find these magical little wafers count yourself lucky. If your store does not carry them, do not despair! There are some easy substitutes that you can use. One idea is to just use an Oreo with the cream scraped off (except I will most certainly be leaving the cream on for my portion!). In a lot of recipes you can use a pack of the 100 Calorie Pack Oreos, which don’t have any icing to begin with but for this recipe those will be a little too small. Luckily if your kids are like mine they won’t notice if you just omit that step all together. Either way, these tasty little witches are sure to be a hit for Halloween!
