Hi everyone – and thank you so much for visiting. I hope you are doing well in these crazy times!
After hearing horror stories of customers purchasing masks from elsewhere and getting scammed, I felt the need to edit this post and let you know upfront that I am a REAL person and I am based in the United States (Southern California).
You can see from my site (feel free to take a look around!) that I have been a lifestyle blogger since 2009 and a travel writer since 2011. With travel no longer an option, I decided to put my craftier side to work to help my family, friends and community by sewing masks.
I am happy to answer any questions you have, just shoot me an email. Stay safe out there! ~ Jeana

“I wear a mask for you and you wear one for me.”
Wearing a face mask is a show of solidarity with our community. Wear a face mask to show you care and are making an effort to keep others safe.
As the coronavirus pandemic evolves, so do the recommendations. One of the most recent recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is to wear “cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”
Why Should You Wear a Facemask?
According to the American Lung Association, one in four people infected with COVID-19 might show mild symptoms or none at all. Using a cloth face covering when you’re around others can help block large particles that you might eject through a cough, sneeze or unintentionally launched saliva (e.g., through speaking), which could slow the spread of transmission to others if you don’t know you’re sick.
“These types of masks are not intended to protect the wearer, but to protect against the unintended transmission — in case you are an asymptomatic carrier of the coronavirus,” the American Lung Association says in a blog post that discusses wearing homemade masks.
*MOST POPULAR EASYFIT DESIGN*
Especially easy to put on and take off, yet still protective (great for kids!) – my new EasyFit mask design is now available! CLICK HERE TO SEE FABRIC CHOICES.
Reasons to love 💕 this CDC compliant homemade mask:
✔️ Machine washable, 2 breathable 100% cotton layers + non-woven sewn in filter layer never needs replacing!
✔️ Creates a nice seal where it needs to but still gives you room to breathe comfortably
✔️ Wide, flat removable nose band is my most comfortable yet
✔️ Fully covers your nose and chin, as recommended
✔️ I call this the “EasyFit” because it’s easy on/off with the only adjustment being a pinch of the nose to create the seal
✔️ I pre-wash all fabric AND elastic several times so your mask won’t shrink!
✔️ Ear loops are cut long and have a special silicone stopper so you can easily adjust their size and your mask fit. Loosen them if your ears begin to hurt or even better, I also include my unique solution for long term wear – a simple gadget to link the ear straps behind your head!
✔️ I have LATEX-FREE elastic available and you can also opt for head ties instead.
✔️ A summer friendly yet protective weight that is perfect for young kids or those not as dexterous as they used to be :)

WE MAKE MASKS IN ALL SIZES – CHILDREN AGED 3 to ADULTS.
The CDC specifically states that “cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.” Learn more about why you shouldn’t place masks on babies here.
Keep in mind that the CDC recommends washing these after EACH use, so you may want an extra to wear while the other is being washed…
If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to email me. I am happy to help as best as I can!
