Get Ready to Throw Away 3-4 Items From Your Makeup Bag

I was recently sent a bottle of Olay Total Effects CC Cream. Aside from the neat packaging and see-thru bottle, this all in one formula combines a daily anti-aging moisturizer, SPF 15 sunscreen and sheer tint for younger-looking skin. I was just about to hop on a plane for 3 weeks of press trips, so I was very excited about bringing this baby along with me.

I’ve never been a “real” foundation wearer. Even though I have freckles and very uneven skin tone, I still prefer tinted moisturizers. But every one that I have tried with sunscreen has felt too heavy or greasy for my skin. It’s because of this, that I don’t wear SPF daily on my face (I know, shame on me!). And on vacation, I only put it on for the couple of hours by the pool.

The Olay CC Cream ended up being my perfect solution! It goes on light enough that you can wear it alone or layer under a foundation. It’s almost like a mouse and I really like how light it is. I actually had to check the bottle twice the first time I put it on to make sure it did indeed have sunscreen! I found myself putting it on every day as part of my normal routine on my trip and LOVING it.

My final destination was 5 days in sunny Cancun, where I simply added a light brushing of matte pressed powder with SPF for a little added protection from both the rays and the inevitable shine.

Not only did I not burn without a second though or extra effort, but I felt GREAT and not Too-made-up-for-the-beach when I wore it. *NOTE* I tan very easily so SPF 15 on my face is plenty to keep me from burning. This is my personal experience and your experience may differ.
