Reindeer Treat Recipe
Ingredients
your favorite granola or protein bar
a set of candy eyes for each reindeer
red candy for the noses (mini M&Ms work great)
brown frosting (or peanut butter)
mini chocolate chips
rock candy sticks
Instructions
You can plan to either use your favorite recipe or go with store bought bars – I used some Made Good Bars. Use a knife to cut long bars in half or get the shape desired.
Use a tiny piping bag or squeeze tube to make the antlers using frosting or peanut butter and set in the mini chocolate chips.
Use the same frosting/peanut butter as “glue” to attach the eyes and nose.
Insert the rock candy sticks in the center and far enough in to support the weight of the bar.
Note: You can either put these in a single layer airtight container for about a week or enjoy right away.
