I was first introduced to Sahale Snacks on my frequent travels with Delta Airlines. Instead of peanuts or pretzels, we were offered this amazing little pack of Honey Almond goodness.
Whistler became the first to fall victim to the addiction of the Honey Almonds Glazed Mixed snack packs and soon became wise to requesting extras from the flight attendant so that he could have them the following day in his lunch box. He even started requesting that I bring some home whenever I traveled without him. Smart kid.
When you become addicted to flavorful snacking, you start thinking of creative ways you can sneak your favorite treats into the rest of your day (aside from just pouring it down your gullet).
What I love about Sahale Snacks is that since they incorporate so many exotic and flavorful combinations, they act as sort of a secret weapon for adding layers of flavor without having to have a lot of ingredients. You’ll see what I mean below with just 4 ingredients + salt & pepper!
My first glance at the Sahale Snacks Pomegranate Flavored Pistachios Glazed Mix had my mind whirling with crusted shrimp or fish recipe possibilities. Ultimately, the recipe below was the one that won with the family and I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
Pomegranate Pistachio Crusted Baked Haddock
Ingredients
1 pound fresh haddock
¼ to ½ cup multigrain breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
sea salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup Sahale Snacks Pomegranate Flavored Pistachios Glazed Mix
Directions
Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees.
Using a small oven safe dish or skillet, add the oil, sea salt and pepper to the bottom. Dredge the fish through the oil and seasonings on both sides.
Sprinkle the tops with a little bit of bread crumbs.
Chop the ¼ cup of the Sahale nut mix into smaller pieces and sprinkle on top of the fish.
Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes or until solid white and flaky inside and golden crusted on top. (The exact cook time will depend on how thick the fish is so keep a close eye if yours is on the thinner side).
We enjoyed this with a mix of roasted carrots, garlic, and a rainbow of potatoes.
I really am truly honored to be partnering with such a great company. I have one more sweet Sahale inspired recipe to share with you, so stay tuned!
Although I’m not a big fish person, that Pomegranate Pistachio Crusted Baked Haddock looks so delicious. I’ll definitely have to try out this recipe soon <3
I just bought some haddock and not decided on how to cook it so this recipe has come at the right time for me
I love eating fish since it’s such a healthy, lean protein. I’ve never tried haddock, but I’d love to try this recipe. It looks & sounds so delicious!
We haven’t had haddock in quite awhile to be totally honest with you.
The kids aren’t that fond of “that kind of chicken” so we really only get to have it when they aren’t home.
Never thought to cook with pistachios before.
Interesting flavour combination!
This looks so good! I love the colored veggies and the crusted haddock sounds and looks mouthwatering! Thanks for the recipe. Need to make it!
